Craftsmanship

When creating a Wouters & Hendrix piece of jewelry, we continually try to surprise ourselves with adventurous ideas and sophistication while constantly adapting old techniques to design unique jewels. We work with ateliers that specialize in specific techniques and produce our jewels using the best materials and gemstones. Many of the stones and materials we use when creating a jewel are cut or forged specially for us, bearing in mind that quality is our highest priority.

Craftsmanship and handmade work are central to our collections. We work with the finest goldsmiths in our studio in Antwerp who develop and complete each jewel by hand. We use different techniques when working on a jewel, whether soldering a precious necklace, using the hammered technique to add texture to a bracelet, or setting a Freshwater Pearl in a ring.

With each technique we always pay attention to detail and try to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

For 30 years Katrin Wouters and Karen Hendrix have been creating nationally and internationally acclaimed jewelry. Over the past few years they have consciously chosen to keep the production in-house, in Belgium, in order to retain the quality and finesse of the finishing. Elegant and refined, their collections bear witness to their knowledge of their craft.
